I really like the way the Tarpon 160 handles in the surf but I really do not like the way the hatches leak. I read over on http://www.topkayaker.net/Articles/Instruction/LargeHatches.html about how to make my hatches better. I added weather stripping and also found the original gasket material had come loose in a lot of places, so I glued and taped it back into place.
